Where to Eat 

Ristorante l’Italiana (tel. 0564 2 84 19; Via Mazzini) is a real draw for Grosseto’s inhabitants which regard it highly. A good place to end a morning stroll in the ancient part of town. 

For lunch with a generous menu to choose from Enoteca Canapino is the place, serving regional dishes at affordable prices.

Granduca organizes banquets in its enormous dining hall but also is a  restaurant serving regional dishes with a creative toucch.

Focusing on modern dishes, Canapone  is a recently renovated building of elegance and charm.

Buca San Lorenzo-da Claudio is a highly recommended restaurant serving seafood and local dishes in the walls built by the Medicis.  Excellent service and elegance.

Antico Borgo, also in the town´s walls, specializes in delectable dishes prepared with simple ingredients in an intimate setting.

Danubio Blu (tel. 0564 2 22 16; Via Cavour 6) ‘s menu has a whole host of local dishes from which to choose. The restaurant’s service is good and its popularity reflective of this.
