Head for Osteria da Tronca (tel. 0566 90 19 91; Vicolo Porte 5) for wild boar and excellent antipasti.

L’ Antica Osteria (tel. 0566 90 26 44; Via Norma Parenti 19) is a highly recommended restaurant for vegetarian dishes and pizzas.

Trattoria Vecchio Borgo (tel. 0566 90 39 50) (taverna.vecchioborgo@libero.it); Via Norma Parenti 12) has an enormous barrel shaped dining hall with an inviting fireplace. One of the best choices among the many excellent and well prepared dishes is the simple homemade gnocchi in tomato sauce. 

Pub dei Fantasmi (tel.0566 94 02 75; Via Norma Parenti 2-4 )is a good option for a lively evening. Jazz bands play every now and again.
